A diagonal coil spring is a circular coil spring with elliptical and inclined coils. When compressed, each coil will deform independently. Regardless of which part of the coil deforms, the entire spring will respond, achieving consistent load at each contact point.


For connectors, the end of the spring will be welded together to form a complete ring. Regarding the detailed stress requirements for each standard coil scale, in the planning of sockets and plugs, the spring can be placed in the groove. When the convex groove pierces into the groove, the inclined coil spring of the spring deforms under the effect of continued spring stress and will form a resistance force until the coil is paired with the groove.

Therefore, connectors need to process more signals at higher speeds in a smaller space, or have more contacts in a more compact space and smaller dimensions. Their unique elasticity deformation curve and wide operating range allow springs to contract up to 35%, reducing wear caused by temperature differences, tolerances, and other deviations. Each spring coil can function independently.

  

Due to the particularity of the spring finger structure, the check of the general spring stiffness is transformed into the check of the pulling force (or stress strain) of the spring finger. The test of this indicator is carried out under the simulated operation state: first apply a force to the spring finger, and then investigate its deformation to check the "soft" and "hard" degree of the spring. This indicator is directly related to whether the high-voltage switch is smooth in the opening and closing process.
